Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s agent Mino Raiola is reportedly analysing some transfer offers for the former Manchester United forward after he failed to earn a new deal at Old Trafford.
The Swedish attacker spent one campaign at United and performed well with 28 goals in all tournaments, though an injury towards the end of the season appears to have finished his time in England.
But, Atletico Madrid are now among the teams leading the hunt for Ibrahimovic as he steps up his return, as they eye a big-name centre-striker signing for January.
Atletico have been hit with a transfer ban until the middle of the season. However, the timing could work out well for them as they weigh up swooping for Swede star when he expects to make a full return.
As reported by Sport, Raiola still considers some hope that he could earn himself another opportunity at Old Trafford, as he proceeds to use the club’s facilities as he wants to get back to full fitness.
Still, with the Red Devils reportedly closing in on the landing of Alvaro Morata to replace Ibrahimovic this summer, the 35-year-old may think he is better off elsewhere.
Diego Simeone is known to be keen on signing a new attacker for next term as well, with Chelsea’s Diego Costa and Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette also linked with the Spanish club this summer.
