West Ham United join race to sign 15-year-old Liverpool transfer target

West Ham United have made an offer to sign Chelsea promising forward Adrian Akande. The Hammers will not have things all their way, however. Liverpool, Man United, Tottenham Hotspur, Rangers and Celtic are all keen on signing U17 Nigeria international.

It is also claimed that there is interest in the winger from Bundesliga, with Hoffenheim keen on bringing him to Germany. Adrian has a vast potential and can become a top-class forward if he continuous improvement. Amid his tender years, Akande has already played in the under-23 Premier League.

He is also a Nigeria under-17 international. And Nigerian winger has already spent time on trial with West Ham United only last month. The Blues youth prospect impressed in east London, with the Hammers have already made an offer to sign the 15-year-old attacker.

He is one for the future, but his opportunities of earning regular first-team football over the next five years or so would be far greater at West Ham than they would be at Reds, Red Devils or Spurs.

And considering the lengthy list of interested clubs in his signature, it would be a real coup for the Hammers if they manage to bring him to the London Stadium.

West Ham United started this season excellently as they are in a 7th position in the Premier League table. Hammers signed several footballers past summer like Sebastien Haller from Eintracht Frankfurt, Pablo Fornals from Villarreal, Albian Ajeti from Basel, Goncalo Cardoso from Boavista, Roberto from Espanyol and David Martin from Millwall.
