Real Madrid and Inter Milan are both interested in signing N’Golo Kante from the London club next summer. France international has been a long-term target for both teams, with the Nerazzurri trying, and failing, to bring the player to San Siro last summer.
Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte is desperate for a reunion with N’Golo, with whom he won the PL at Chelsea back in 2017. Antonio Conte sees Kante as the one footballer who will “transform his side into Serie A winners”.
Los Blancos have held an interest in the midfielder due to Zizou’s admiration for his fellow Frenchman. The 29-year-old midfielder has been constantly linked with a move to either Real Madrid or Inter Milan over the past two years.
There were rumours that Kante fell out of favour under Blues boss following his arrival at Chelsea in the summer of 2019, but now N’Golo looks back to his best for the club. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Kante move on next summer especially if Los Blancos come knocking, but it would also make sense for him to remain at London as the club begins to mount a PL trophy bid again.
A move to the Italian club would be quite short-sighted as it doesn’t look like the Italian manager plans to remain at San Siro for too long. Either remain in Chelsea or go to Madrid for one last challenge. Chelsea signed Hakim Ziyech from Ajax, Timo Werner from RB Leipzig and Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen during the summer.
