UCL giants enter the battle to sign £110,000-a-week Arsenal defender

The London giants have named their price to the suitors for Hector Bellerin, who seems ready to depart Arsenal in the summer transfer window. The 26-year-old defender is being tailed by Barcelona, Juventus and PSG, who will have to pay between €20m and €25m to secure his services.

Hector joined the Gunners from Barcelona in the summer of 2011, seeking a clear pathway to first-team football. Bellerin did manage to secure that a couple of years later and he has not looked back since. While not the express full-back he once was, Spain international is nevertheless a mainstay at the back for Arsenal.

Till date, the Spanish defender has turned out 235 times for the PL club, chipping in with 9 goals and 29 assists. However, ahead of the summer transfer window, Hector is facing an uncertain future with the Gunners, with reports claiming that he is set to call it quits at Arsenal. This has piqued the interest of the Blaugrana among others.

La Liga giants signed a right-back only last summer when Sergino Dest arrived from Ajax to be the long-term solution in the position. Dest has, in fact, gone on to revel in Ronald Koeman’s recently implemented system where he has flourished as a right wing-back.

However, Sergi Roberto is facing an uncertain future at Barcelona and could well be on his way out of Barca in the summer transfer window. Therefore, it is understandable why Barca might be in the market for a right-back, with Bellerin being a viable target, especially considering Arsenal are not demanding a hefty sum in exchange for his services.
