Defender may sign pre-contract, Chelsea to agree the deal
The 31-year-old Chelsea defender has clearly the worst season of his entire career, Branislav Ivanovic was even linked with several European clubs, but Jose Mourinho decided to keep an experienced player.
But as per Serbian’s agent, Ivanovic could be tempted to sign a pre-contract in the January transfer window with Inter Milan, who were monitoring the situation around player since summer.
Branislav’s representative Zoran Krneta, remains confident of a new deal, he admitted the right-back could be lured away.
Krneta said: “Its quite possible that he will renew his contract with Chelsea. The rumors about Inter? In football anything it is possible.”

‘If there’s anyone he reminds me of when he’s on the ball, it’s Karim Benzema. I’m not saying he’s the new Benzema, but he does remind me of him in one-on-one situations.’
