The German tactician is willing to use Callum Hudson-Odoi as a part of the exchange in any possible offers for Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland, according to reports. The 20-year-old forward struggled with Southampton on the weekend. And, now, it looks as though a parting of the ways could be on the cards.
Thomas Tuchel is determined to sign Jadon and Erling when the transfer window reopens at the end of the season. The German boss recently took over from Frank Lampard and has lifted Chelsea, helping them challenge for a place in the UCL qualifying slots.
Blues are now expecting to end up in Europe’s top-tier club competition and Tuchel feels Erling and Jadon would be vital signings for his side. Norway international has been in fine form this campaign, with the Norwegian striker scoring 17 goals from 17 Bundesliga games.
And Jadon has recovered from a shaky start to the campaign to step up, with the Englishman now operating at the peak of his powers once more. The duo won’t be cheap to sign, however, given their importance to Borussia Dortmund.
And the German manager is willing to use Callum as a part of an exchange in any blockbuster deal. The English winger has scored just twice and assisted twice this season, toiling under both Thomas Tuchel and Frank Lampard.
And it looks as though Blues could be ready to offload the footballer, who was wanted by Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich last summer. Meanwhile, speaking after his side’s 1-1 draw with Southampton on Saturday, Tuchel ripped into Hudson-Odoi over his attitude.
