Battle for transfer of highly-rated Bulgaria international

Arsene Wenger and Roger Schmidt could be set to clash as they prepare to go head-to-head in a bid to seal the transfer of Ivaylo Chochev from Palermo.

Both clubs need a strong, defensive midfielder after injuries and shortage of options in midfield. Palermo insider has revealed that Arsene Wenger sent spies to watch the 22-year-old player’s performance in a 1-0 home win against Chievo Verona.

Celtic prepared a January move for versatile CSKA midfielder Georgi Milanov

As per our Russia based reporter  CSKA Moscow attacking midfielder Georgi Milanov is  on transfer radar of Scottish outfit Celtic and the Hoops considering to make a January move for  Bulgaria international.

The 23-year-old Milanov can play in several positions across the midfield, having played as a playmaker, a winger, and a central midfielder for both club and country, though in an interview, he stated his main preference as an attacking midfielder.

However Celtic are not the only club who are interested in signing Bulgarian, as La Liga side Sevilla have also made enquiries about youngster and could make a deal in winter.

Milanov joined CSKA Moscow in 2013 from Litex Lovech and current contract ties him at Russia till 2018. Midfielder was given number 23 jersey. Blugarian scored his first official goal for Russian outfit in a game against FC Zenit Saint Petersburg on 16 March 2014 – a long range effort that eventually won the game for his team; being the only goal scored in the whole match.

6ft1 player is also a key member of his national team and scored 2 goals in his 28 appearances for Bulgaria.
