Spanish club in the hunt for 20-year-old talented Man United forward

Blaugrana are reportedly paying attention to Tahith Chong’s situation at Old Trafford as he looks to be heading for a possible free transfer away from the Red Devils. It was claimed earlier this campaign that U21 Netherlands international had decided not to sign a new deal, and it’s not long now until he’ll be a free agent at Man United.

Tahith’s agent has also been quoted as hinting that his client may have to move on due to not being trusted by Red Devils coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Chong’s potential availability has alerted the Catalan club, who are always on the lookout for potential bargains in the transfer market.

The 20-year-old still looks a footballer who could have a big future at the highest level, with several players recently improving after leaving this dysfunctional Man United. Romelu Lukaku is a player reborn after moving to Inter Milan this campaign, while Memphis Depay also ended up improving hugely after leaving United for Lyon.

The Dutch forward has long been considered a big talent and has time to continue improving, though he’ll need to get on the pitch to show what he can do. This doesn’t look like happening under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the moment, so it will be interesting to see if Blaugrana take a gamble on him.

Barcelona have fantastic results in La Liga this season as they are leading the table. The Catalan club signed several players during the summer like Frenkie de Jong from Ajax, Junior Firpo from Real Betis, Neto from Valencia and Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid.
