Juventus are reportedly willing to offer two of their senior stars in a footballer exchange deal to try and land the Red Devils midfielder Paul Pogba this summer.
France international enjoyed a stellar spell with the Bianconeri between 2012 and 2016, playing 178 matches for the Old Lady while winning four league trophies and four domestic titles as he emerged as one of the top midfielders in Europe.
However, his come back to Old Trafford hasn’t quite worked out as hoped, as Pogba has struggled to match that level and standard consistently at Man United, while he has endured a bitterly frustrating season this year having been limited to only eight games due to injury.
Speculation over his future refuses to go away too, and now Serie A giants are keen to try and prise him back to Juventus this summer. Given the financial impact of the covid-19 pandemic, it’s highly likely that most, if not all, clubs are going to struggle to splash out big fees ahead of next campaign on new additions.
With that in mind, it’s suggested that Bianconeri could offer Douglas Costa and Adrien Rabiot in a swap deal to try and lower Paul’s price-tag and convince Man United to part ways with the World Cup-winning midfielder.
On the one hand, Adrien would offer them an immediate replacement option in midfield, while Douglas Costa could strengthen their front-line and give the Norwegian manager another dynamic in the final third.
However, Brazil international has struggled to make a decent impact this campaign while continuing to pick up injury problems, and Adrien has underwhelmed in his first campaign with the Old Lady and is seemingly facing doubts over his future already.
