Serie A giants eager to sign £185,000-a-week Arsenal striker

Juventus and Milan are keeping a keen eye on the London giants centre-forward Alexandre Lacazette whose deal at Arsenal are up next summer. The 30-year-old striker was once among the most feared centre-forwards in Ligue 1.

His move to the Emirates Stadium has paid dividends, but it has not been an unqualified success as one may have thought. Now 30, Lacazette appears to have one big move left in him. Alexandre looks to be seeking a new challenge, one that can help him challenge for titles on a regular basis.

The Gunners, for their part, are in no position to compete. The Spanish manager’s side are currently undergoing a restructuring and look a million miles away from being a top-six side, let alone a contender. It stays unlikely that France international will remain on at the London club.

The French striker is not short of suitors and has several top teams keen on his services. Atletico Madrid, Sevilla, Milan and Juventus all stay keen on Lacazette and can offer him a better shot at success than the Gunners. The Spanish club will need to replace Luis Suarez, who is now 34.

Age is slowly yet steadily catching up with the Uruguayan centre-forward who led the club to the La Liga title last campaign. The same can be said of the Rossoneri, who will eventually need to find a replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Meanwhile, the Bianconeri have not got going this campaign and also lost their top scorer in Cristiano Ronaldo. Alvaro Morata is a dynamic striker who is fantastic on his day. Bringing in Alexandre, that too on free will give the Turin club more options should they need it.
