Red Devils keeping tabs with €70m-rated Bundesliga centre-forward

Man United held negotiations with Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski and set to battle with Chelsea and Real Madrid for the player. Red Devils have problems in the attack as Romelu Lukaku, and Marcus Rashford linked with several clubs, and they need back-up.

Poland international is the best choice in this situation as he has a fantastic campaign and proves his greatness one more time. Ole Gunnar will do everything to add him this summer, but it will be difficult as Blues and Los Blancos also planning to make a bid during the transfer window.

There will be a battle for the footballer. The 30-year-old striker joined the German club from Borussia Dortmund in 2014 with a free deal. He is one of the best centre-forwards in Europe and a key figure for the club. In this season, the Polish attacker already played 45 games, scored 38 goals and made 13 assists in all competition.

It is an impressive consequence, and he can do much more during this campaign. Robert has contracted with the Bavarians until 2021, and his release clause is nearly €80m. His price could increase and become much more during this season.

Lewandowski is a captain of the national team and also helped them to reach the quarter-final in the EURO 2016, but after losing in a penalty shoot-out against Portugal, they kicked out from the competition. He won six Bundesliga and two German Cup with Bayern Munich. Man United also linked with Inter Milan centre-forward Mauro Icardi, Serbian striker Luka Jovic and Atletico Madrid superstar Antoine Griezmann.
