Red Devils in the battle to sign €60m-rated Brazilian centre-back

Man United in the hunt for PSG footballer Marquinhos and preparing to make an offer during the summer transfer window. Red Devils have problems in the back-line as Eric Bailly linked with several clubs, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones are in a terrible form, and they need back-up.

Brazil international is the best choice in this situation as he has an impressive campaign and proves his worth one more time. Jurgen ready to spend big money on the player in July when the transfer window opens again. Liverpool are also interested in signing him, and there will be a contest for the footballer.

Marquinhos joined the Parisians from Roma in 2013 with a €32m deal. He is one of the best centre-backs in Ligue 1 and unchanged figure for the club. In this season, the 24-year-old defender already played 38 matches, scored four goals and made one assist in all tournament. It is an excellent result, and he can do much more during this campaign.

The Brazilian centre-back has contracted with the French club until 2022, and his release clause is around €60m. His price could increase during this season and become much more. Marquinhos is a regular member of the national team and also helped them to reach the quarter-final, but after losing 2-1 against Belgium, they kicked out from the competition.

The English club will do everything to add him this summer, but it will be difficult as PSG aren’t going to sell such a prominent figure during the transfer window. Red Devils also linked with Roma defender Kostas Manolas, Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly and Real Madrid footballer Raphael Varane.
