Real Madrid leading race to sign £50m-rated Chelsea transfer target

Los Blancos in pole position to sign Eintracht Frankfurt centre-forward Luka Jovic and ready to compete with Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City, Barcelona and Bayern Munich for the footballer. Zinedine Zidane wants to improve the front-line and his primary target is Serbian international who has a fantastic campaign and paid attention.

Mariano Diaz is in terrible form and his replacement is necessary. French manager will do everything to add him during the summer transfer window. The 21-year-old striker joined the German club from Benfica in 2017 with a two season-long loan deal. He is one of the best centre-forwards in the Bundesliga and a key figure for the club.

In this season, Serbian striker already made 41 appearances, scored 25 goals and made seven assists in all tournament. It is an excellent result and he can improve his consequences with high-class partners. Luka’s release clause is nearly €55m which is a decent price for such a talented centre-forward.

Jovic is a regular member of the national team and also played in the 2018 Mundial which is already a big success for the footballer. Los Blancos have terrible results in this campaign as they are in a third place in La Liga table and kicked out from the Champions League and Copa del Rey.

Spanish club signed several footballers last summer like Mariano Diaz from Lyon, Thibaut Courtois from Chelsea, Vinicius Junior from Flamengo, Alvaro Odriozola from Real Sociedad and Andrii Lunin from Zorya Luhansk. Real Madrid also added Man City youngster Brahim Diaz and Porto centre-back Eder Militao this winter.
