Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to try their luck with a bid of nearly €130m for the transfer of Liverpool winger Sadio Mane. This will be an alternative for the Los Blancos if they fail to land their two top targets, Man United’s Paul Pogba and Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar.
Senegal international has been linked with the La Liga club before, as Sadio was personally contacted by Zinedine Zidane earlier this transfer window. However, Spanish giants president Florentino Perez did not see the need for the move, as he’s now considering a big-money offer for the footballer.
Mane could surely be a perfect signing for Real Madrid, as he’d make a pretty big upgrade on the likes of Gareth Bale and Lucas Vazquez in the attacker. Los Blancos need of a little more quality in the front-line if they are to truly establish themselves as a force in La Liga and the Champions League again.
The 27-year-old forward joined the Merseyside club from Southampton in 2016 with a €42m deal. He is one of the best attackers in Europe and a key figure for the club. Last season Senegalese star played 50 games, scored 26 goals and provided five assists in all competitions.
Real Madrid had terrible consequences last campaign as they finished La Liga in a third position and knocked out from the Champions League and Copa del Rey. Los Blancos already signed Eden Hazard from Chelsea, Luka Jovic from Eintracht Frankfurt, Eder Militao from Porto, Ferland Mendy from Lyon and Rodrygo Goes from Santos.
