Stefan Šćepović’s future is still uncertain. According to the Serbia international striker’s closest friend, Partizan will battle with Getafe to complete the deal for the-25-year old striker.
Šćepović has already had a superb season with Serbian outfit Partizan, where he scored eight goals in 14 league appearances in the 2012/13 season.
Stefan Šćepović was expected to complete a permanent transfer to Getafe in January having joined on a season-long loan from Celtic but now Partizan enters the race, also the Hoops officials desperate to cut loan and recall the Serbian striker.
The Serbia international Stefan Šćepović made 18 Premiership appearances and scored just three goals for Celtic after joining from the Sporting de Gijon for €2m in September 2014.
Despite versatile striker’s interest to continue to play for La Liga side Getafe where he has already scored three goals in 9 appearances in all competitions the Hoops are desperate to recall the striker earlier than predicted.
The 6”2” striker scored 23 goals for second division Sporting Gijón during the 2013-14 campaign and had attracted a lot of interest from around Europe.
