No.11 forward wants to remain in Spain amid Man United interest

Gareth Bale is not interested in moving back to the PL and will likely finish his career at the Los Blancos, according to his agent Jonathan Barnett. After coming close to securing a move to Chinese Super League last year, speculation continues to build over the 30-year-old forward’s future at Real Madrid.

Wales international has been linked with a transfer back to England, with his former club Tottenham and Red Devils touted as possible destinations. But those rumours have been silenced by Gareth’s agent Barnett, who believes he wants to remain where he is.

‘As I’ve always said, he’s quite happy in Madrid. Bale has a very nice lifestyle, I don’t see why he wouldn’t see his career out in Real Madrid probably,’ Barnett said 4. ‘It’s his life that he wants to lead. Financially, Bale will want enough for the rest of his life and all his children and grandchildren.’

‘He’s won nearly everything in the world except the World Cup. To come back and play would be a big thing but I don’t think he wants to do that at the moment as he’s quite happy to play at Santiago Bernabeu.’

After winning four Champions Leagues and one La Liga trophy since joining the club in 2013, Bale has now reportedly fallen out of favour with manager Zinedine Zidane.

If the Welsh forward was to leave Santiago Bernabeu, any interested party would likely have to match his astronomical wages of nearly £650,000 a week. ‘I have no idea what Bale’s value is. His salary is quite high and also where he wants to go very important in his life. I can’t put a figure on it,’ Barnett added.
