Manchester United officials are going to offer the new terms to talented defender

The-18-year old promising defender Cameron Borthwick-Jackson is close to be given a new Manchester United contract worth £10,000 a week.

Borthwick-Jackson, 18 has made his debut against West Bromwich, also has gone on to start against Wolfsburg, Bournemouth and Southampton and was brought off the bench away to Liverpool as well.

Because of Luke Shaw, Marcos Rojo an Ashley Young serious injuries after surgery, Borthwick-Jackson has a massive chance to cement himself as Manchester United first-choice left-back for the next four months which would do wonders for his career.

Borthwick-Jackson’s emergence may well have stopped Louis van Gaal from signing a new left-back in January which would be indicative of the faith he has in him and during a season of turmoil, it’s excellent to see a local lad progressing.
