Man United started negotiations with 17-year-old promising forward

Red Devils are linked with several proven footballers, and now a talented youngster is in the limelight in the form of Amad Traore. Man United have followed the 17-year-old winger enough to start inquiring about him from Atalanta. The Italian outlet have mentioned that the Serie A club are looking at two options.

First, to slowly integrate Amad into the first team and second, to loan him out and bring him back when he has gained valuable experience. The dilemma is that Red Devils would like to secure his signing in winter and as far as the value is concerned, a bid worth £34m would get the transfer done.

It is further stated that even a fee of nearly £15-20m euros might be enough to secure Traore. This campaign, the 17-year-old forward has been in fantastic form for Atalanta’s youth team. So far, in 13 matches for the U-19 side, he has directly contributed to 12 goals (4 goals and eight assists).

In October, the Ivorian attacker made his first-team debut in the Serie A against Udinese. He was brought on in the 77th minute, and after 6 minutes, he found the net. The African youngster also featured with Juventus (for 5 minutes) in a contest that the Serie A champions won 3-1.

Amad naturally plays on the right flank, and at Theatre of Dreams, Daniel James is the first choice right-winger. We have utilised the likes of Mata and Lingard on the right-wing as well but naturally, they are playmakers, who have been highly inconsistent for us. Therefore, Man United should improve their front-line in winter.
