Man United ready to pay €80m for David de Gea replacement

Red Devils are desperate to sign Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak and preparing to make an offer in July when the transfer window opens again. Norwegian coach wants to strengthen the squad, and his primary target is Slovenia international who has an impressive season and proves his worth one more time.

David de Gea has a bad campaign and linked with several clubs, and his replacement is necessary. Ole Gunnar Solskjær ready to spend big money on the shot-stopper during the summer transfer window. Jan joined the Los Rojiblancos from Benfica in 2014 with a £15m deal.

He is one of the best goalkeepers in Europe and an unchanged figure for the club. In this campaign, Oblak already played 42 matches and made 19 clean sheets in all competition. It is an excellent result, and he can improve his consequences during this season.

The 26-year-old shot-stopper has contracted with the Spanish club until 2023, and his release clause is around £80m. His price could increase during this campaign and become much more. Slovenian goalkeeper regularly plays in the national team which is already a big success for the player.

Man United will do everything to add him this summer, but it will be difficult as Atletico Madrid aren’t going to sell such a prominent figure during the transfer window.

English club heavily linked with Juventus winger Douglas Costa, Serbian centre-forward Luka Jovic, Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos, Barcelona footballer Ivan Rakitic, Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly, Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho and Lyon footballer Tanguy Ndombele.
