Man United planning shock move for €80m-rated shot-stopper

Red Devils are eager to sign Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak and planning to make a bid during the summer transfer window. Man United have problems in the back-line as David de Gea heavily linked with several clubs, and he needs replacement.

Slovenia international is the perfect option in this situation as he has an impressive season and proves his worth one more time. Solskjær set to spend big money on the shot-stopper this July, but it will be difficult to sign him as Diego Simeone isn’t going to sell such an important figure during the transfer window.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper joined the Los Rojiblancos from Benfica in 2014 with a £15m deal. He is one of the best shot-stoppers in Europe and an unchanged figure for the club. In this campaign, Slovenian goalkeeper already played 40 matches and made 17 clean sheets in all competition.

It is an excellent result, and he can improve his consequences during this season. Oblak has contracted with the Spanish club until 2021, and his release clause is around £80m. His price could increase during this campaign and become much more.

Jan regularly plays in the national team squad which is already a big success for the shot-stopper. Man United will do everything to add him this July, but it won’t be easy as Liverpool and Chelsea also preparing to make an offer during the transfer window. English club also linked with Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale, Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, Sporting player Bruno Fernandes and Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.
