Former Aston Villa centre-forward Emile Heskey has stated that there is ‘every chance’ that Jack Grealish will join the Red Devils when the transfer window opens. U21 England international has impressed this campaign, scoring seven goals and racking up six assists in only 26 Premier League matches.
Such form has led to speculation linking Jack with a transfer move to Man United, something Emile is tipping to happen. Speaking about the club captain’s future, Heskey said: “There is every chance that Jack Grealish will join Man United in the summer. I don’t think that Jack will be at Villa come to the end of the season.”
Such news will come as a blow to Aston Villa supporters, who cherish Grealish. The 24-year-old attacker has been an integral member of his boyhood club since 2014, picking up the captain’s armband back in March 2019.
The English midfielder has certainly represented the club on the field well, with Heskey acknowledging this: “He’s done a fantastic job for them since he started at the club.”
Should Jack leave Villa, it will no doubt be on good terms. Grealish has helped guide his club back into the PL, but given his talent, he will be aspiring to win major titles in his career. When the transfer window opens, Villa supporters will perhaps be preparing for the worst.
In contrast, should Jack seal a move to Man United this summer, his link-up with Bruno Fernandes to provide creativity and goals behind the pace and movement of the likes of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial would surely be something that Red Devils supporters will relish.
