Man United keeping tabs with €60m-rated African midfielder

Luke Chadwick offered his thoughts on Man United’s midfield problems. The ex-Red Devils footballer voiced his admiration for Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, suggesting him as a perfect solution to Man United’s midfield issue.  Man United’s woes in the middle of the park have already been well-documented.

The Red Devils lack a proper and reliable number six, with neither Fred nor McTominay being able to fill in properly while Matic is in the final phase of his career. Luke believes that one player that could potentially solve Man United’s issues in the middle of the park is Nigeria international.

During his interview, Chadwick not only hailed Ndidi but also suggested him as a perfect signing for Man United.  Formerly of KRC Genk, Wilfred has played almost 200 games for the Foxes since joining the club in winter 2017.

The 24-year-old midfielder has been a vital part of Brendan Rodgers’ team that has seemingly announced itself as one of the strongest clubs in the Premier League. Unfortunately for the Red Devils supporters, though, Man United has not been linked with a move for the Nigerian midfielder as of yet.

But it is apparent that Man United are in the market for a new midfielder in the winter, with the African’s teammate Youri Tielemans being a potential transfer target. Wilfred has played almost 200 games for the Foxes since joining the club in winter 2017.
