Man United have held a meeting with Juventus to discuss various midfielders. One of the players that popped up in this meeting was Adrien Rabiot, which could suggest an interest in signing the midfielder in the summer transfer window.
Rabiot joined Bianconeri in the summer of 2019 following an acrimonious departure from PSG as a free agent. The switch to Bayern Munich, though, has not worked out as envisioned, even though Adrien has been a regular in the middle of the park for the Old Lady while also winning his place back in the Les Bleus side.
To date, France international has played 84 games for Juventus, chipping in with six goals and four assists in the process. However, the French midfielder has had the tendency to blow hot and cold, making him a rather frustrating figure for the Bianconeri.
However, that has not affected his stock in the transfer market, with the Red Devils among his suitors this summer. The Premier League giants are in a precarious position over the future of Paul Pogba, who is starting to get heavily linked with a possible switch to PSG.
If the French midfielder calls it quits at Old Trafford, Man United will need a replacement in the middle of the park, which explains why they have been linked with Saul Niguez, Eduardo Camavinga and Houssem Aouar among others.
To that end, Adrien is a viable target as well for Man United, who reportedly had the 26-year-old midfielder scouted at UEFA Euro 2020 as well. And it looks like Man United could be stepping up their efforts to land Adrien further, after having held a meeting with fellow European giants Juventus.
