Man United keeping tabs with 20-year-old England international

Red Devils have offered Borussia Dortmund Alexis Sanchez in part exchange for Jadon Sancho, according to reports. Chile international is currently out on loan at Inter Milan, and Man United are eager to offload the vast earner from their books.

Alexis pockets £500,000 a week as a Red Devils footballer and has experienced the similar fitness and consistency issues in Serie A as he did in Old Trafford. It is no secret Man United are desperate to sign England international from Bundesliga giants, but the forward is valued at well over £100m by his club.

Jadon has two years left on his deal and is keen for a new challenge, although the ongoing covid-19 pandemic might force the attacker to delay any transfer move for another year. Man United are trying to reach an agreement with the German giants and have offered the BVB, several footballers, as part of the deal.

Sanchez is one of them, and there is optimism Borussia Dortmund could be interested despite his mammoth wages. Inter are unlikely to pick up the option to sign Alexis permanently when his loan expires at the end of the campaign.

Borussia Dortmund have picked up underperforming footballers from big clubs before and helped rejuvenate their careers, for example, former Barcelona centre-forward Paco Alcacer.

Red Devils continue to keep a close eye on Jadon, who has scored 17 times and provided 18 assists in 39 matches for Dortmund this campaign. The English forward is yet to start in the two matches Dortmund have had since the restart of the Bundesliga due to a calf injury.
