Man United keen on signing €35m-rated French midfielder

Man United could be ready to rival La Liga heavyweights Barcelona for the signing of Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot in the upcoming transfer window. France international has been with the Bianconeri since 2019, having joined from boyhood club PSG on a free transfer following the expiry of his deal.

While he has been fairly regular in the starting line-up in Juventus, Rabiot has failed to make the kind of impact that was expected of him upon his arrival. Adrien has racked up 78 games for the Old Lady, contributing with four goals and three assists.

With Bianconeri looking at a major rebuild in the summer, there are expected to be several outgoings in the summer window, with Aaron Ramsey said to be one among those facing the axe. And, the 26-year-old midfielder is also likely to be sold by the club as they have been not convinced by his displays this campaign under coach Andrea Pirlo.

Despite making a little impact this campaign at the Allianz Stadium, the French midfielder’s stock stays pretty high as the footballer is attracting interest from a host of top teams around Europe including the likes of La Liga giants Barcelona, along with Man United.

Man United, much like Barcelona, have a well-stocked midfield department, with the Norwegian manager being able to call upon Pogba, Fred, McTominay, Matic and van de Beek. However, Pogba is entering the final year of his deal with Red Devils and is yet to commit his future to the club while Matic is also entering the final phase of his career.
