Man United join the race to sign No.7 technically gifted winger

Liverpool’s heated rivals Man United and Everton have reportedly entered the race to sign former Reds youngster Rafael Camacho, less than a year after the Portuguese talent left Anfield. Rafael rejected a five-year contract with the Merseyside club in a bid to kick-start his senior career with first-team football at current club Sporting Lisbon.

The report claims that Premier League powerhouses Tottenham, Everton, Chelsea and Arsenal are also interested in Camacho. U20 Portugal international has 17 first-team matches across all tournaments this campaign, the Portugal youth international has impressed recently starting Sporting’s last four matches.

The 19-year-old youngster is predominantly used as a right-winger, but the teenager has played all across midfield for the Portuguese giants this campaign. The Portuguese starlet just made a handful of first-team appearances for the Merseyside club, and his decision to leave the Anfield outfit is starting to prove like a good choice.

There’s no doubt that a come back to England would allow him to establish himself as a top European teenager. Man United have terrible consequences in the Premier League this campaign as they are in an 8th place in the table.

Red Devils signed several footballers during the summer transfer window like Harry Maguire from Leicester City, Daniel James from Swansea and Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace.
