Andrea Pirlo is prepared to offload Paulo Dybala this summer a year after the Bianconeri attacker almost moved to the PL, according to reports in Italy. Old Lady made the shock announcement to replace their sacked boss Maurizio Sarri with club legend Andrea after the Serie A giants were knocked out of the UCL by Lyon.
Andrea is expected to make sweeping changes and several of Bianconeri’s star figures are reportedly facing the axe, including Welsh attacker Aaron Ramsey. Argentina international almost left Bianconeri last summer and the Old Lady reportedly agreed on deals with both Red Devils and Spurs before the attacker decided he wanted to stay.
Paulo went on to score 17 times this campaign for Bianconeri, but his future at the club is in doubt yet again. Dybala is not thought to be in Andrea Pirlo’s plans despite being a hugely popular player among the fans and the squad. Bianconeri are ready to cash in and would accept an offer of £90m for the Argentine attacker.
Spurs recently failed in a deadline day move for Paulo and Jose Mourinho has since taken charge at Tottenham. Tottenham are ready to be one of many clubs whose transfer spending will be affected by the ongoing covid pandemic and it stays to be seen which side would have the funds to sign the 26-year-old attacker.
Andrea Pirlo reportedly wants to secure an elite striker and Bianconeri have recently been linked with the Gunners goalscorer Alexandre Lacazette and Atletico Madrid frontman Alvaro Morata. Paulo has been at Allianz Stadium since 2015 and still has another two years to run on his current deal.
