Red Devils Italian scouts have urged the English club to sanction a move for Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali. Italy international is one of the most highly-rated midfielders in Europe and has already played 61 Serie A matches for Brescia.
Norwegian boss has lost Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini since joining the club and has made no secret of his desire to bolster in midfield. Paul Pogba is likely to leave Man United next summer, and Red Devils have tasked their scouts with finding a replacement for the French star.
And Red Devils Italy-based scouting network believe they’ve found a solution in Sandro. Tonali broke into the first team two years ago, and Man United have kept a close eye on him ever since. He has vast potential and can achieve big success.
However, the improvements he’s shown in 2019 have alerted a wealth of other top clubs and Red Devils scouts have reported back that Man United need to speed up a move for the youngster if they stand any chance of landing him.
The 19-year-old midfielder has drawn comparisons with Andrea Pirlo and Jorginho for his ability to build-up play from the base of midfield, but he’s slowly adding goals to his game and has netted six times for the club.
Italian youngster was recently handed his first international call-up, and though suitors hope to add him for nearly £40m, it could take a far bigger fee to extract him from Brescia. Ole Gunnar Solskjær ready to spend considerable money on the midfielder as he wants to strengthen the squad next summer.
