Red Devils appear to have been issued a warning by one of their top talents’ agents, the advisor hinted that his client will listen to offers from other clubs.
Erkan Alkan, the agent of Man United youngster Tahith Chong, appears to have issued Red Devils with a warning over the talent’s deal by stating “or else we’ll see what’s best for Tahith’s development next summer.”
U21 Netherlands international’s current contract expires at the end of the campaign, but given that he’s a youth prospect, it looks very early for his agent to be making such a statement. Italian club Juventus were keen on snapping up Tahith after his deal expires.
Considering that the Norwegian manager has handed Chong with a good amount of first-team chances, potentially exiting Man United seems like a poor decision from the 19-year-old attacker. “It is true that top clubs keep an eye on the situation around Tahith” “But it’s still early in the season.
We are quietly waiting to see what Red Devils will come up with or else we will see what best for Dutch winger’s development next summer is.” The attacker has played four first-team games so far this campaign, with two of those coming in the Premier League.
The Dutchman is yet to register a goal contribution so far this campaign. It would be wise for Tahith to focus on his football and let his performances do the talking rather than his agent. At a time where the ace has a great chance to establish himself in the first-team, Chong should do his best to avoid becoming clouded by transfer rumours.
