Man United in bidding war for €100m-rated Bundesliga forward

Borussia Dortmund are willing to listen to transfer offers for Jadon Sancho in winter, reports say. Red Devils and Liverpool are keeping close tabs on England international ahead of the winter window. Despite being valued at over £100m, his position at Dortmund has deteriorated rapidly.

Jadon was dropped for Borussia Dortmund’s crunch Champions League game with Barcelona on Wednesday night, and that was due to disciplinary issues. Sancho’s tardiness has been a recurring issue at Dortmund, and he was late for a team briefing and a training session before the clash with Blaugrana.

The 19-year-old winger was already punished and publicly lambasted for returning late from international duty earlier this campaign and Dortmund are now considering new action against the young goalscorer. Catalan club beat Dortmund 3-1 at the Nou Camp, but English star came off the bench to score his side’s only goal.

Jadon is keen to move on from Bundesliga giants, but there was an understanding between footballer and club that no deal would happen before the end of the campaign. Dortmund are now prepared to listen to offers and Liverpool, Red Devils, Man City and Real Madrid have all registered an interest in signing him.

A bidding war could now erupt for Jadon, who could easily break the transfer record for the winger. Although the German club have altered their transfer plans for Sancho, things could change again they decide to part ways with boss Julien Favre.

Jadon Sancho was not keen on a move to Man United last summer, but Jamie Carragher thinks he would be the perfect fit at Liverpool.
