Man United in advanced talks with €30m-rated Wales international

The Red Devils and Spurs may reportedly have been given a boost after some encouraging transfer news regarding goings-on at Juventus. With new boss Andrea Pirlo replacing Maurizio Sarri in the last few days, it seems like there could be further changes at the club as the new manager wants to clear out some under-performing footballers.

One footballer not in Andrea Pirlo’s plans is ex-Arsenal attacker Aaron Ramsey, who has recently been linked with a come back to the Premier League. Even under Maurizio Sarri, Wales international’s future looked in some doubt as he was linked with both Red Devils and Spurs.

Aaron could surely still be an attractive option for either of those two teams, though his huge wages could prove a stumbling block for the Bianconeri in their attempts to offload him. Tottenham had been offered Ramsey on loan, and it’s easy to see how the playmaker could prove a useful short-term addition for Jose Mourinho’s side.

This would be hugely controversial, however, with the 29-year-old playmaker spending so much of his career across north London at Emirates. Arsenal will be hoping he doesn’t end up representing their bitter rivals, though a move to Old Trafford wouldn’t be much more pleasant for them either.

Man United could do with a bit more spark in their midfield next campaign, and the Welshman may well be a decent alternative to Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish, who has been linked with them in what would likely be an expensive move. Villa won’t want to sell Jack, but if Aaron is available he’d surely be easier for Red Devils to get if they still want him.
