Red Devils have been handed some good news regarding Eric Dier after it was stated that the footballer is ready to be put up for sale by Tottenham in the winter transfer window. Man United are keeping an eye on England international’s situation in Tottenham, with the report also linking him with a potential move to Old Trafford in winter as well.
And following this, it looks like Red Devils have been handed some good news in regards to their pursuit of Dier. Eric is one of several Spurs stars that are to be put up for sale in the January window, something that could persuade Man United to finally make a move for him if the Star’s report is anything to go off.
The 25-year-old midfielder has found himself heavily out-of-favour at Tottenham this campaign following the arrival of Tanguy Ndombele in the summer. English midfielder man has made only three appearances in all tournaments this campaign, with his display against Brighton last week showing exactly why.
Eric looks all out of sorts during his Spurs 3-0 loss to the Seagulls, as Tottenham torrid run in 2019 continued. It’ll be interesting to see how much Tottenham end up wanting for Dier come to the winter transfer window, and whether Norwegian coach and Co are bold enough to make a move for him.
Given his performance last weekend, however, we suggest Red Devils look elsewhere in their attempts to strengthen their midfield options. Man United also linked with Sporting playmaker Bruno Fernandes, Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Leicester City attacker James Maddison.
