Man United are keeping close tabs on Gleison Bremer, who plies his trade for Serie A club Torino. The 24-year-old defender came through the ranks at Desportivo Brasil and spent a campaign on loan at Sao Paulo before sealing a permanent transfer to Atletico Mineiro in 2017.
After eighteen months at the club, Bremer secured a switch to Torino during the summer transfer window of 2018. Since arriving in Turin, Gleison has become a mainstay at the heart of the defence for Granata. To date, Bremer has managed to play 83 games for Torino, scoring 11 goals and setting up four more.
His progress with the Italian club has seemingly caught the attention of top teams around Europe. Gleison has previously attracted interest from Napoli, while Juventus and Inter Milan are also keen on the Brazilian defender.
Now, Man United to have emerged as a possible suitor for the former Atletico Mineiro centre-back, with a move in the summer of 2022 being touted. Man United bolstered their defence this summer with the arrival of Raphael Varane from Real Madrid. The French defender has looked good in his short time at Theatre of Dreams.
Apart from him, Man United also have Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Eric Bailly and Phil Jones on their books, while Axel Tuanzebe is away on loan. However, Phil Jones’ future at Man United is pretty much non-existent, while Tuanzebe could make his loan switch to Villa permanent next year.
