Man United given green light to sign €50m-rated Spanish winger

Man United have reportedly been given a boost as Ansu Fati could seek a transfer away from the Catalan giants if Memphis Depay joins. Spain international has been linked with Man United in recent times, with he’s been eyed up by the Red Devils as a potential alternative to Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho.

Ansu has shown himself to be one of the biggest talents in Europe at the moment, and he is surely the future of the Blaugrana if they give him more first-team chances in the near future. However, there could be a catch as Fati’d be prepared to consider leaving if Memphis joined from Lyon and blocked his place in Koeman’s starting line-up.

It had recently been reported by Fabrizio Romano that the Netherlands international had agreed on terms on a move to the Catalan club, though a deal has not been struck between the two teams yet. It could be that the Dutch forward will soon be heading to Barcelona, and that could give the Red Devils a real boost in the transfer market.

The 17-year-old forward would be an alternative to Jadon Sancho for Red Devils, and some might argue it would be an even better investment for the long run. England international, despite still only being 20 years of age, is already more of an established big name, so could quite likely be a lot more expensive than the Spanish winger.

At only 17 years of age, Ansu Fati had already become the Catalan club’s teenager ever scorer and the youngest player to find the net in the UCL, before completing the set by becoming the Spanish national team’s youngest ever scorer in the past week.
