Man United given green light to sign €40m-rated Brazilian winger

Real Madrid are looking to offload winger Vinicius Junior this summer and have offered his services to Man United during the negotiations over a deal for Raphael Varane. Brazil international arrived in Spain in the summer of 2018, a year after a deal was agreed to sign him from Flamengo.

Vinicius, who cost La Liga giants £36m in transfer fees, has shown glimpses of his unbridled potential during his time in La Liga, but the lack of consistency has often left fans frustrated. Indeed, in 118 games for Los Blancos thus far, Vinicius has managed to score only 15 goals, with his end product in the final third often letting him down.

Nonetheless, the 21-year-old forward is a footballer with immense promise, who, with a bit of polishing, can reach the top level, and La Liga giants are hoping to make the most of his potential by cashing in on him this summer.

It is claimed that Real Madrid’s president, Florentino Perez, is intent on signing Kylian Mbappe from PSG, which would mean he will need to generate funds by offloading some of his current footballers, which is why the Brazilian winger has been now offered to Red Devils in the ongoing transfer window.

Man United are already on the verge of completing a successful raid on Los Blancos for centre-back Raphael Varane, with a deal said to be in place to sign the defender. And, it is during these negotiations that the Los Blancos have proposed that Man United also sign the South American attacker.
