Red Devils are reportedly considering a transfer swoop for Bayern Munich star Corentin Tolisso. The 25-year-old midfielder has not had the best of times at Bavarians, mainly due to injury problems, but has recently shown himself to be a top talent who could shine for Europe’s biggest clubs.
His future at Bayern Munich is now in some doubt as the club looks into possibly replacing him, with the Red Devils named as one of the clubs most interested in snapping him up. Man United could do with bolstering in midfield this summer and have notably been linked with Corentin.
Still only 25 years of age, Tolisso surely has time to get back to his best again after his tough time in Bundesliga, and he could do an important job in Man United. Bavarians are looking at Chelsea’s Tiemoue Bakayoko and Tottenham’s Tanguy Ndombele as signings to possibly replace France international and other footballers this summer.
Primarily a defensive midfielder, the French midfielder could be a useful upgrade on the likes of Nemanja Matic and Fred, who, despite their recent improvements, have not always been the most reliable performers in that area of the pitch for the Red Devils.
The World Cup-winning midfielder has spent three campaigns with the Bundesliga giants after joining from boyhood club Lyon in a £37m deal. But this campaign he has been restricted to just seven starts as he struggled for playing time and now wants to leave.
