Kalidou Koulibaly is increasingly likely to leave Napoli at the end of the campaign amid interest from many teams around Europe. Man United and Chelsea have emerged as the two possible destinations for Senegal international, with the teams in contact with the centre-back’s agent Fali Ramadani.
Barcelona are also interested in Koulibaly. Napoli have no intention to back down from their €35m price tag. Ramadani stays hopeful a few of Kalidou’s suitors can afford to meet such demands, with his best bet being Chelsea.
Chelsea are gearing up for a busy summer ahead as they look to deal with the exit of Rudiger, Christensen and Azpilicueta, who has been linked with a move to Barcelona lately due to a gentleman’s pact he had with the previous ownership led by Abramovich.
Another club in contention to sign the 30-year-old centre-back are Man United. Much like their league rivals, Man United are anticipating a few sales, including Bailly, who has become a shock target for Newcastle, while Jones will be allowed the leave the club as well.
The Red Devils are further worried about the dip in performances from Maguire and the injury woes of Varane, so the signing of an experienced leader like the Senegalese defender could go a long way in bolstering the ranks for Erik ten Hag. One other club tracking the situation of the African centre-back are Barcelona.
