Man United closely monitoring €100m-rated Premier League attacker

Red Devils are hoping to persuade Christian Eriksen to move to Theatre of Dreams, according to a report in England. Man United are hoping to finally land Denmark international after the attacker rejected Red Devils in the summer transfer window.

The same article states that the 20-time English champions are set to make a fresh bid to lure Christian to the Old Trafford after Mauricio Pochettino’s sacking last month. According to the same story, Red Devils could pay a fee for Eriksen in the winter transfer window to prevent the star from agreeing to a transfer with a foreign club next month.

The 27-year-old forward would prefer to sample a new league and new culture rather than remain in the Premier League as his deal nears the final six months. Man United were 2-1 winners with Tottenham at Old Trafford on Wednesday night after Marcus Rashford scored twice.

Marcus was on the score sheet once again in Red Devils 2-1 victory over Man City on the weekend. Man United are aiming to finish in the top four this campaign after they ended up sixth in the table last term. The 20-time English champions haven’t won the PL title since Sir Alex Ferguson retired as a coach back in 2013.

Red Devils will return to Premier League action next Sunday afternoon when they take on Everton at Old Trafford. Before that, they have a home clash against AZ Alkmaar in the UEL on Thursday night. Man United signed Harry Maguire from Leicester City, Daniel James from Swansea and Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace.
