Man United closely monitoring 24-year-old Bundesliga winger

Man United are set to lure Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman to Old Trafford with a bumper £260k a week deal offer. Red Devils are already keeping a close eye on his deal situation at Bayern Munich, who are keen on extending his current contract that expires in 2023.

There is a fear in the Bavarians camp that France international may snub a new deal offer, in favour of a move to Old Trafford. Red Devils, in fact, are even willing to double his current wages with a sensational £260k-a-week deal offer as the PL giants look to take a page out of the David Alaba book.

The 28-year-old centre-back, earlier this campaign, ran into discrepancies with the Bayern Munich board over a new deal extension. The reports had claimed that Austria international was unhappy with the terms the club was offering and he was hoping for higher wages.

David has now publicly voiced his departure at the end of the campaign, with reports linking with a move to Real Madrid. Red Devils are now looking to follow the same method with Kingsley, who has been in terrific form this campaign. In 17 Bundesliga games, the 24-year-old winger has been involved in 12 goals including nine assists.

His consistent displays on the left flank have been crucial in a campaign where star footballers like Serge Gnabry and Leroy Sane haven’t quite performed up to speed. It is also the reason why Bayern Munich are so determined to fend off suitors by tying the winger down to a new deal.
