Red Devils could reportedly sign Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale in winter. The 30-year-old winger has featured in seven games for the Los Blancos this campaign so far, scoring two goals and providing as many assists. He has been linked to an exit from the La Liga giants lately as Zizou wants Perez to sell him in the winter transfer window.
Man United can buy Gareth who is valued at €60m in winter. The report also suggests that the Spanish club will use Bale as part of a deal to land Paul Pogba. Wales international has been one of Real Madrid’s best footballers in the past few years, scoring 104 goals and providing 67 assists in 238 matches across all tournaments.
However, this campaign he has been far from a regular for them due to injury issues. Provided the Welsh attacker does leave the Los Blancos in winter, Old Trafford would be a fine destination for him as he could find playing time if his fitness is maintained. Gareth joined the La Liga club from Tottenham in 2013 with a €100m deal.
He won many titles with the Spanish giants including four Champions League, La Liga, Copa del Rey and Super Cup. Bale is a captain of the national team and also helped them to reach the semi-final in the Euro 2016. He had many injuries at Real Madrid and lost the place in the starting line-up.
Red Devils also linked with Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, RB Salzburg centre-forward Erling Haaland, Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic, Sporting midfielder Bruno Fernandes, Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly and Leicester City playmaker James Maddison.
