Man United are closely monitoring €80m-rated Serbia international

The Red Devils are reportedly interested in signing Sergej Milinkovic-Savic during the summer transfer window. The 25-year-old midfielder has had a fantastic campaign with Lazio so far, netting five goals while providing seven assists in 31 matches across all tournaments so far.

Man United are interested in signing Sergej in the summer, but a lot would depend upon Paul Pogba’s future at Old Trafford. Lazio would demand €120m for him. Milinkovic-Savic has also been linked to PSG as the Ligue 1 club were interested in signing him.

Serbia international has been an integral footballer for Eagles since joining them from Genk, scoring 36 goals while providing 26 assists in 194 games across all tournaments so far. Provided Pogba does leave Theatre of Dreams in the summer, the Serbian midfielder would be a suitable replacement for the World Cup winner.

However, Lazio would try their best to keep Sergej as he is one of the footballers they’d need to contend for the Serie A and other silverware.

Man United have excellent consequences in the Premier League this campaign as they are in a fifth place in the table. Premier League giants signed several footballers during the summer transfer window like Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace, Daniel James from Swansea and Harry Maguire from Leicester City.

The Red Devils also added Bruno Fernandes from Sporting, Nathan Bishop from Southend United and Odion Ighalo from Shanghai Greenland Shenhua. English club heavily linked with Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, Real Madrid playmaker Isco, Aston Villa attacker Jack Grealish and Leicester City playmaker James Maddison.
