Liverpool submit £22m offer for Croatian forward

Liverpool in advanced talks with Juventus attacker Marko Pjaca in this summer. Croatian winger wants to get a regular game time and ready to change the club in this transfer window. Juventus have too many forward and now Cristiano Ronaldo joined them. So there is no place for Pjaca and Liverpool planning to use this situation and sign him. Recently he was loaned in Schalke and return in Italian club in this summer.

Croatia international joined the Old Lady from Dinamo Zagreb in 2016 with a £20m deal. The 23-year-old is contracted with the Italian club until 2021 and his release clause is around £22m. In this season he made just 15 appearances and scored two goals in Bundesliga. Marco also named in Croatia squad for the World Cup and won silver medals with his team.

Liverpool already signed Xherdan Shaqiri from Stoke, Fabinho from Monaco, Naby Keita from RB Leipzig and Alisson Becker from Roma in this transfer window. Reds heavily linked with Croatian defender Domagoj Vida but the deal isn’t done yet. Klopp also keen to strengthen the front-line and Wilfried Zaha and Marko Pjaca are his primary targets. Liverpool had long-term talks with Lyon midfielder Nabile Fekir but the deal failed as French club demanded too much money.
