Liverpool ready to listen to offers for 23-year-old talented forward

Harry Wilson is in no hurry to make a decision on his future amid transfer talks linking him with a move away from the Merseyside giants. Wales international has suitors in the PL and Europe as a loan with a view to a permanent transfer away from Liverpool seems the most likely outcome for him this summer.

However, Harry is currently on holiday and planning to link up with Reds for pre-season before rushing into a decision on his next move.

Harry is primarily attracting interest from PL trio Newcastle United, Southampton and Leeds United, but the current economic climate amid the covid pandemic means clubs might be reluctant to pay the Reds asking price for him at the moment.

The 23-year-old winger has long looked a promising young talent and spent last campaign on loan at relegated Bournemouth, having also recently impressed in a stint on loan at Derby County.

Leeds, Newcastle, Crystal Palace and Southampton are interested in keeping the Welsh forward in the top flight and valuation will not put them off. The Merseyside giants deem it a fair price due to his ‘potential’ and the three years left on his deal.

Still, with so much competition for places at Anfield, it stays to be seen if he can do enough to impress later this summer when he does link up with the German tactician’s side for pre-season.

With Adam Lallana at the end of his contract and Xherdan Shaqiri struggling to impress, Liverpool supporters may well feel there’s a role to be had for Harry Wilson, though it may be that the player himself is eager to be a regular starter at this stage in his career.
