Liverpool line up official bid for 21-year-old striker

Liverpool are lining up a transfer move for AZ forward Vincent Janssen this summer, according to reports in Spain.

Janssen has had a breakthrough season for AZ and the 21-year-old has already found the net on 22 occasions for the Dutch outfit this campaign.

Don Balon say the Reds are looking to snap up the £9.6million-rated Vincent Janssen at the end of the season after being impressed by the prolific forward’s goalscoring form.

Jurgen Klopp is looking to bring attacking reinforcements to Anfield after frustrating campaigns for the likes of Daniel Sturridge, Christian Benteke and Divock Origi.

Manchester United, Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in the Nertherlands international who scored against England last month.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are ready to beat Gunners to the transfer of Ipswich Town youngster Andre Dozzell, reports say.

Klopp’s side are in talks with the Championship club for the talented teenager, 16, and are close to concluding a deal.

Reds will have to pay Ipswich roughly £1.5million in compensation after winning the race for his signature, according to the Mirror.

Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham were all desperate to sign him but Liverpool look to have won the race.

Jurgen Klopp had his scouts monitoring the quality midfielder, who has yet to make his debut for Ipswich.
