Liverpool keep a close eye on €80m-rated prolific La Liga winger

Merseyside club closely monitoring Real Madrid forward Marco Asensio and planning to make a bid in June when the transfer window opens again. Reds have problems in the front-line as Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane linked with several clubs, and they need back-up.

Spain international is the best option in this situation as he also wants to get regular game time and ready to listen to offers from the clubs. Klopp set to spend big money on the player during the summer transfer window. Chelsea, Man United, Bayern Munich and Juventus are also interested in signing him, and there will be a contest for the footballer.

Asensio joined the UCL giants from Mallorca in 2015 with a £5m deal. He has a vast potential and can become a world-class forward if he continuous improvement. In this season, Marco played 44 matches, scored six goals and made seven assists in all tournament.

It is an excellent consequence, and he can improve his results if he gets a regular place in the starting line-up. The Spanish winger has contracted with the Los Blancos until 2023, and his release clause is nearly £80m. His price could increase and become much more during this summer.

The 23-year-old forward is a regular member of the national team and also helped them to reach the playoff in the 2018 Mundial, but after losing in a penalty shoot-out against Russia, they kicked out from the competition.

Liverpool will do everything to add him this summer, but it will be difficult as Blues, Red Devils, Bavarians and Old Lady also preparing to make an offer during the transfer window.
