Liverpool and Real Madrid have been in regular contact with Kylian Mbappe regarding a move. France international has already informed PSG that he would like to leave next summer, the star’s deal expires in 2022. There’s absolutely no doubt that either Reds or Real would be taken to the next level if they were to recruit a footballer like Mbappe.
Kylian has at least done PSG a favour by making his intentions clear and thus allowing the Ligue 1 giants to work on recouping the fee they paid for the footballer next summer. At only 21, the lightning-fast winger is already one of the best footballers on the planet, with the forward boasting 118 goals and 67 assists already in his club career.
The 21-year-old forward is becoming more experienced as each match passes as well, preparing the attacker for the pressure that a move to one of the most competitive leagues in the world would bring.
Reds already have arguably the world’s best-attacking trio in Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Bobby Firmino, the addition of the French winger to their forward ranks would make them unstoppable. Liverpool will have to rival Los Blancos to secure the World Cup winner’s signature though it seems, which is a very tough race indeed.
La Liga giants might be more willing to spend big to get Kylian, particularly with his fellow Frenchman, Zizou, in charge. There is also speculation that Kylian’s future at Paris could be linked to the future of Luis Ferrer, a PSG board member who played a crucial role in signing the attacker from Monaco.
