Merseyside giants are reportedly interested in signing Fabian Ruiz. Spain international has been fantastic for Napoli this campaign so far, netting three goals against Lecce, Brescia and Inter Milan while providing two assists versus Verona and Atalanta.
Fabian has been linked to Real Madrid and Barcelona lately as both Spanish clubs are interested in signing him, however, according to reports in Spain, Reds have also joined the race to sign the midfielder who is valued at £74m. It has also been claimed that Bayern Munich are interested in signing the 23-year-old midfielder as well.
Fabian has been an integral figure for Napoli since joining them from Real Betis, amassing ten goals and five assists in 72 games across all tournaments so far. Ruiz has established himself as one of the best midfielders in Serie A, and it won’t be much of a surprise if bigger teams in Europe try to sign him in the summer.
Someone like the Spanish midfielder could be a suitable signing to Liverpool’s squad, and it’ll be interesting to see if the club tries to land him. Fabian had scored twice and provided two assists in 22 games before the Serie A campaign was suspended due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
Jurgen Klopp is pressing ahead with his transfer planning amid the disruption, which has seen sporting events across the globe postponed or cancelled. The Premier League will not resume until at least April 30, but that date looks optimistic at this stage given the spread of coronavirus in the UK.
