Liverpool held negotiations with €30m-rated African goal machine

Liverpool are keeping tabs with Porto centre-forward Moussa Marega and planning to make a bid during the summer transfer window. Reds have problems in the attack as Divock Origi, and Roberto Firmino linked with several clubs, Daniel Sturridge decided to leave the Merseyside club, and they need replacement.

Mali international is a great choice in this situation as he had an excellent campaign and proved his worth one more time. German coach set to spend considerable money on the footballer in July when the transfer window opens again. Chelsea and Man United are also interested in signing him, and there will be a battle for the player.

Marega joined the Dragons from Marítimo in 2016 with a £4m deal. He is one of the best strikers in Liga NOS and a key figure for the club. In this season, Moussa played 47 matches, scored 21 goals and provided 11 assists in all competition.

It is an impressive result, and he can improve his consequences with world-class teammates. Malian centre-forward has contracted with the Portuguese club until 2021, and his release clause is around €30m. He is a regular member of the national team which is already a great achievement for the footballer.

Probably the 28-year-old striker will accept the correct offer from Jurgen Klopp. Merseyside club had a fantastic result in the Premier League as they finished the tournament in a second place. Liverpool won the Champions League final against Tottenham 2-0, and it is the first trophy for the German manager.

English club added several footballers last summer like Naby Keita from RB Leipzig, Fabinho from Monaco, Alisson Becker from Roma and Xherdan Shaqiri from Stoke City.
