Liverpool enter the battle to sign €60m-rated top-class defender

Merseyside club join the race to sign Inter Milan footballer Milan Skriniar and preparing to make an offer in July when the transfer window opens again. Reds need a new top-class centre-back to improve the back-line, and Slovakia international is the perfect choice in this situation.

He has an excellent campaign and proves his worth one more time. Klopp ready to spend big money on the footballer but it won’t be easy to sign him as Man City, Real Madrid, Man United, Chelsea and Juventus also planning to make a bid during the transfer window. There will be a real contest for the player, and his price could become much more.

Milan is a regular member of the national team which is already a big success for the footballer. He joined the Italian club from Sampdoria in 2017 with a €28m deal. In this season, Slovakian defender already played 36 games and made one assist in all competition. It is a good result, and he can do much more with high-class teammates.

Skriniar has contracted with the Nerazzurri until 2022, and his release clause is nearly €60m. He is one of the best defenders in Serie A and unchanged figure for the club. Reds signed several footballers last summer like Naby Keita from RB Leipzig, Fabinho from Monaco, Alisson Becker from Roma and Xherdan Shaqiri from Stoke City.

Liverpool also linked with Juventus attacker Paulo Dybala, Sporting midfielder Bruno Fernandes, PSG footballer Adrien Rabiot, Lyon superstar Memphis Depay, Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt and Real Madrid centre-back Raphael Varane.
