The Merseyside giants are among the teams keeping an eye on Jadon Sancho. The Borussia Dortmund forward has emerged as the desired transfer target for multiple top teams this summer, including Man United, who are set to splash the cash on England international.
The German manager is thought to be a keen admirer of Jadon, although it looks Reds must sell one of their star footballers in either Mohamed Salah or Sadio Mane in order to afford the winger who is being valued nearly the €100m, although Bundesliga giants might be willing to reduce their demands a little in view of the pandemic.
Following a slow start to the 2020/21 season, Sancho has been on fire since the turn of the year, becoming one of Bundesliga’s best-performing stars alongside the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Andre Silva and his teammate Erling Haaland.
Indeed, after just five assists during the first half of the season, the 21-year-old midfielder has been involved in a total of 14 Bundesliga goals in 2021. He most recently starred in the victory over RB Leipzig, scoring a brace that included a late winner, helping Borussia Dortmund keep their UCL hopes alive.
As far as the Reds are concerned, they look to be showing a lot of ambition heading into the market this summer, especially in the attacking department as Jurgen Klopp looks to strengthen his options after a disappointing season.
In fact, Liverpool are reportedly keeping an eye on Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford as a potential alternative to Roberto Firmino. Making a move for the English winger, however, could be a whole different ballgame, as the 21-year-old is widely considered as one of the best young wingers in world football.
